MANILA CHAMBER SINGERS ON THEIR AUSTRALIAN TOUR

The Manila Chamber Singers had a successful Australian Tour  from 26 October to 12 November 2013 starting in Brisbane, then in  Sydney and lastly in Canberra.  They performed in various churches and parishes, arts centres, malls and schools.

The Philippine Embassy in Turkey reported that the Manila Chamber Singers (MCS) won the Grand Prix in all choir categories and First Prize in the mixed choral category at the Antalya International Choral Festival held in the Mediterranean resort city of Antalya in Turkey last April 14 to 17.

Traditional Filipino costumes were showcased, and not only that but as well as Philippine Folk dances and songs were rendered.

On their way from the Czech Republic to the Choir Olympics in Bremen, the Manila Chamber Singers stopped by Berlin to perform at the St. Christophorus Church. The choir sang Philippine folk songs, as well as religious songs by European composers.
